Many pupils think it is ideal to become self-employed later. They do not like the idea of working for a boss at all. If you work in someone else’s service for a short or a longer period and you receive a salary or wage for this, you work in employment. The employer (the person you work for) and the employee (the person who works and receives wage) usually lay down in writing the agreements they make about income and employment conditions in an employment contract.
